Wedding Reception Venues in Utah Real Event 6-4-2014

wedding reception centers in Utah that allow self-cateringMadison and Zach enjoyed their approximate 300 guests at one of the wedding reception venues in Utah that is run by Western Garden Centers called Atrium Weddings.

They enjoyed a self-catered event during which close friends supplied sliders, salads, chips, fruit, and finger desserts.  Notice the absolutely gorgeous fondant covered Mr. and Mrs. sugar cookies.  Madison opted to use Atrium’s elegant dishware package for her buffet style setting.  This wedding reception was all a family affair as the cake was created by Madison’s sweet mother Vanisha.  They took advantage of the beautiful baby grand piano and invited a pianist for live music for part of the evening.  The florist was Lauren Richardson.  Their photographer was Emily Whitehead and their videographer was Brad Winegar.

Not all wedding reception centers in Utah allow such flexibility for the bride and groom and their families.  We were honored to be a part of Madison and Zach’s beautiful beginning.

The Mother of the Bride left us the following comment:  Thanks for having a facility and staff that allowed me to do what I wanted.

Reception Centers in Utah Will Not Let You Get Caught in the Rain

Utah wedding venues can look like an indoor garden

I had always wanted a spring garden wedding reception so my fiancé and I decided on a date in mid May. His parents had the most gorgeous back yard that I thought would be absolutely perfect for the event. They agreed to host the event, but brought us to look at Atrium Weddings, one of Western Garden’s reception centers in Utah, just to be sure we didn’t want to use a venue that we would not have to worry about rain. I was adamant about having the reception in the backyard. The Atrium was beautiful but just not what I wanted. So it was settled, we would have the event in the backyard and pray for no rain.

We spent the following months planting new flowers, new grass seed and making sure the yard looked just right. I dreamt of where everything would be placed and where we would stand. We all prayed for the weather to cooperate. As the day speedily approached, everything was in order and the weather was beautiful. We checked the forecast daily just to be sure the day would be perfect. The week before there was no chance of rain but as the days went on the chance of rain increased. I prayed, no pleaded, that there would be no rain, with no luck. Two days before the wedding we were forced to come up with a change of plans. The day before, we set all the tables and chairs up inside. We set large white canopies up outside to accommodate the line. All I could say was “oh well” because there was nothing I could do at that point.

The day of the wedding was just as predicted by the weather man. It poured rain. I have never seen so much rain in Utah in my life. We were lucky enough to get some outdoor pictures while the rain took a little break, but other than that hour, the rain did not stop all day long. Although the day was not quite like I had hoped or dreamed, it was the best day of my life and the rain made it very memorable. Also, just so we never forget, it has since rained on every one of our anniversaries.

A Garden Wedding During The Winter

Ceremony in winter at Sandy wedding reception centerOutdoor weddings are so beautiful, and with a variety of extras that can be added to make them unique, they are an excellent alternative.  There are some issues with an outdoor wedding, though, with the main one being the weather.  Utah only has about 4 months that are freeze free, so people searching for Utah wedding locations should look for Utah wedding venues that provide atrium weddings.

With the amount of snow and cold weather that Utah experiences, you should consider a Utah wedding reception center like the Atrium at Western Gardens for their beautiful outdoor feeling facility.  All the plants that are part of the atrium wedding venues in Utah give off the outdoor feel of a garden wedding in any weather condition or temperature.  If it snows during the ceremony or reception, your guests will love looking out all the spacious windows of this Sandy reception center.

Choosing a facility that offers you a Sandy Utah wedding venue in the same location as your Sandy Ut wedding reception.  This will help keep the costs reduced because of a couple of factors.  The first being, many of the plants that are included in these type of wedding venues Utah will help add to the flower decorations, so you will not need as much money for the flowers.  Secondly, there is no need to transport decorations from the place the wedding is held, to the Utah wedding reception facility, or buy enough flowers for both venues.

When you use the Atrium at Western Gardens for your Wedding receptions in Utah, they can help recommend reputable vendors to handle with many of these added details.  The Atrium at Western Gardens also offers hundreds of styles of wedding announcements, with a 20% discount available when you reserve the atrium for your wedding.  There are many options available, such as the inclusion of a picture, inserts, or a thank you note.

Atrium wedding reception center in Sandy has a garden feel in the middle of winterPlants are a big part of The Atrium at Western Gardens venue, which supply an outdoor atmosphere.  There are so many places that will provide fabulous photo opportunities.  Leaving disposable cameras around for guests to take their own pictures, will provide you with wedding photos you will cherish forever.  Shots taken by a guest can catch the real wedding, beneath the posed photographs, with lots of photos you would not have without these impromptu photographers.

The food is a large part of the reception, which needs to be chosen to fit whether the wedding is casual or formal.  The budget will also play a vital role in this part of the wedding, because depending upon the choices, this is where manipulating the budget can have an impact.  The Atrium at Western Gardens has 2 catering partners that can provide a magnificent feast for any budget and type of wedding being held.

When you choose the Atrium at Western Gardens, out of all the reception centers Utah has to offer, you can have that garden wedding you always dreamed of without weather concerns.  It does not matter if your wedding is in January, during a snow storm, you can still enjoy a garden wedding at the Atrium.
