At Your Reception Center, Take a Thank You Photo

While you are at your Salt Lake wedding reception center, here is a simple and clever way to express your gratitude to your wedding guests and to those who helped with the small technical parts of your wedding day. Many thank-you’s are in order after such a big celebration but with the bride and groom on their honeymoon and busy adjusting to married life, limited time is available for writing and creating countless thank-you notes.  This idea helps the bride and groom express their gratitude in a personal way, but not spend too much money or time in doing so.

A couple years ago my best friend got married and everything was absolutely wonderful about her wedding, but the part that stands out the most in my memory is the thank-you post card I received in the mail about 2 weeks after the wedding. My friend and her new husband had taken a picture of themselves on their wedding day at their wedding venue with a poster board in their hands. On the poster board they had written two simple words, “Thank You.” On the back of the wedding thank you postcard they had written a quick personalized note expressing their gratitude. The ‘Thank You’ postcard was simple but meant a lot to me.

Since that time I have seen many other couples do similar as they pose for pictures to print on postcards.  So remember to take that one photo at your wedding venue in Salt Lake City of you and your beau expressing a joyous thanks to all of your loved ones.  I love this idea not only because it is simple but it is a great way to show your unique personality as you remind your guests of your gratitude on your beautiful day of celebration.     Let your imagination express yourselves!

There are many services that you can use to print your postcards.  Check out Zazzle.com, Shutterfly.com, Vistaprint.com, and many other companies that offer photo thank you cards or photo postcards.

Dish-ware Packages Can Be a Valued Luxury at Wedding Venues Salt Lake City Offers

Outdoor ceremony at a wedding venue in Salt Lake CityThis bride looked at many wedding venues Salt Lake City offers.  She then chose Atrium Weddings for her outdoor ceremony and indoor reception dinner because of their flexibility, beautiful ambiance, and polite staff.  She also discovered that for a real value, she upgraded her booking to use stylish dish-ware that cost a fraction more than if they had chosen other plastic or paper alternatives.  After her outdoor ceremony and wedding-party photos at the waterfall, everyone came into Atrium’s indoor garden for a stunning sit-down meal.  The tables were pre-set by the caterers.  Misty chose this Salt Lake wedding venue’s stylish square dishes.  Traditional round plates are also an option.  The package includes several plates/dishes, goblet, several pieces of silverware, and a linen napkin.  For $1.50 per person (price subject to change), this is an added touch of class to make any sparkling bride’s wedding reception sparkle even more.

Newlyweds at reception center waterfall in UtahReception centers in Utah include the beautiful Atrium Weddings at Western Gardens in Sandy.  It was the backdrop for a gorgeous ceremony and wedding dinner for this beautiful couple.  With Western Garden’s waterfall as the setting, they started their lives together.  After the ceremony, the couple stayed for photos in the lovely setting.  This is one of the most beautiful wedding places in Utah.  Inside the beautiful garden setting of Atrium, guests enjoyed a delicious meal that had been self-catered by the family and friends.

Everyone jumped in to help in the sandwich making line.  Atrium provides plenty of area for the family to set up and create what they choose, if a preferred caterer is not hired.  Others tossed a salad and set out previously prepared cupcakes and freshly cut fruit.

Everyone was very helpful, especially because the woman who was in charge of the food, was last week confined to her bed with her pregnancy.  Her dear mother, another friend of the bride, flew down from Washington and stepped in to complete her daughter’s wishes.  The bride and groom didn’t see all the workings behind the scenes, and everything came off beautifully, …and deliciously.

Utah wedding venues are fortunate to have a beautiful reception center such as Atrium Weddings that can adapt to whatever the bridal party needs.

Bride’s Perfect Colors at Atrium Weddings in Salt Lake City

Bright and outgoing is the mood of this bride!

For Salt Lake wedding receptions, most typically, brides have their reception colors chosen long before there is a ring on her finger!  You have probably dreamed of your most special day in certain colors since you were in elementary school.  Your colors are you!

Color is very important to your event.  The colors you use in your wedding reception tells more about you than you may realize.  Color reflects your mood and personality and sets a tone for all the guests at your celebration.  For example, reds and yellows and oranges set an exciting and fun ambiance, while greens and blues create a feeling of harmony and peace.  Metallic colors portray elegance and sophistication.   With your color scheme, you will be directing the aura and the flow of your ceremony and celebrations.

Sometimes the season of the year can enhance your wedding reception.  Say you want red in your color scheme, but it’s a spring wedding.  Add yellow and green to your red with maybe a touch of orange and it fits into the feel of new spring growth.  But then again, simple red and white with the greens of spring can be an elegant spring mixture. Whereas, if you have a winter wedding reception, red with black and white is a popular stunning combination.

Red with black and white is simple elegance

Salt Lake City wedding venues are varied in styles and the venue you choose should be considered when finalizing your colors.  If you are holding your event in a garden setting, like Atrium Weddings in Salt Lake City, the variety of plants already offer a sea of greens that can be accented with your spring yellows and pinks.  A garden center also lends itself to winter celebrations, again because the green decor is already present.  Accent with your reds with black and white, and you have a memorable beautiful celebration at a magical time of year.

Whether you are getting married spring, fall, summer, or winter, you can use your favorite colors to create that perfect mindset for your guests, reflecting the joy you are feeling that day at your Salt Lake City wedding.
